Important Electrical Safety Information Use of an extension cord or multi-plug adaptor is strictly prohibited due to overheating, which can lead to hot tub and surrounding property damage. The 12 ft. hot tub cord must be plugged directly into a grounded (corresponding voltage 110-120 V AC, 60Hz Single Phase 12A) receptable that is resistant to humidity and capable of high-power loading. If you’re unsure about the electrical supply quality, consult a qualified electrician before use. Regularly inspect the plug and socket for signs of damage. If signs of damage exist, do NOT plug back into the socket. Installation Location Inflatable hot tubs should be set up outdoors on level ground that’s able to support the weight of the hot tub, water and users, has adequate drainage to avoid property damage, and is within 12 ft. of a grounded receptable (3-prong outlet). Special Indoor Installation Requirements If you do set up your inflatable hot tub indoors, please note that humidity is a natural side effect of hot tub use and could cause damage to property.
To minimize these effects, consult an expert to confirm there is adequate ventilation around the installation area prior to use.

Great Hot Tub, But Winter Use is a Real Consideration – Understanding the 39°F Limit
I absolutely love my SaluSpa hot tub! It’s been a fantastic addition to my backyard, offering a perfect escape for relaxation and unwinding after a long day. The setup was surprisingly easy, the bubbles are wonderfully soothing, and for most of the year, it’s exactly what I hoped for.
However, one significant point for potential buyers, especially those in colder climates (or even during unexpected cold snaps in places like Lahore), is the 39°F (4°C) operating limit. While SaluSpa models boast ‘Freeze Shield’ technology, which is brilliant for preventing the internal components and water from actually freezing and causing damage, it’s crucial to understand that it’s not designed for continuous use or optimal heating below that threshold.
The technical reason, as I understand it, is that below 39°F, the pump and heating system simply aren’t engineered to efficiently maintain the high temperatures needed for comfortable soaking against the extreme cold. The ‘Freeze Shield’ is more of a protective measure to keep the unit from breaking, rather than an assurance of warm soaks in freezing temperatures. If the ambient temperature drops significantly below 39°F, the heater struggles immensely, leading to very slow heating times or even the hot tub losing heat faster than it can gain it.
For me, this means packing it away for the coldest months, which is a bit of a bummer after enjoying it so much. If you’re in a region with consistently mild winters, this might not be an issue at all. But if you experience true freezing temperatures, be prepared to either winterize it or accept that you won’t be using it for those periods. It’s a fantastic hot tub for its price point and convenience, but knowing this limitation upfront is key for managing expectations.
