To insulate a SaluSpa hot tub for winter, it should be placed over insulated floor mats or foam boards, insulated with a thermal blanket on the water, and covered with a snug, well-insulated cover to capture the heat. For very cold conditions, go for insulation beyond an ice hut or full winterizing of the spa when not in use.
